General terms
Travel booking terms
By using this website or purchasing a travel product, the customer confirms that they have reviewed the booking details, passenger information, route, operator, travel date, travel time and applicable policies before payment.
Agency and reseller relationship
St Barts Ferry LLC operates StBarthFerry.com. Depending on the product purchased, StBarthFerry.com may act as a booking agent, reseller, distributor, facilitator or intermediary for independent ferry operators, transfer providers, VIP service providers and private boat operators. The actual transportation service is performed by the relevant operator, not by StBarthFerry.com unless expressly stated.
Formation of booking contract
A booking request becomes a confirmed transaction when payment is accepted and a confirmation is generated or sent by email. The confirmation email, reservation number, ticket record, payment record and related communications are evidence of the transaction and acceptance of these terms.
Passenger responsibilities
Passengers are responsible for reviewing all travel details, arriving on time, presenting valid identification, holding required passports and visas, complying with immigration and customs requirements, and meeting all boarding rules. Failure to meet these requirements does not automatically create entitlement to a refund.
Independent operator policies
Each ferry operator or service provider may maintain its own schedules, boarding rules, refund policies, baggage policies, pet policies, safety requirements and operational procedures. The customer agrees to comply with the rules of the relevant operator.
Schedules, delays and operational changes
Schedules, vessels, departure times and arrival times may change due to weather, sea conditions, port operations, security events, mechanical issues, government action, immigration processing, force majeure or other events outside the control of StBarthFerry.com. Customers should reconfirm travel details before departure.
Check-in and missed departures
Customers must arrive at the appropriate ferry office or check-in point before check-in closes. Late arrival, missed check-in, incomplete documents, incorrect passenger details, no-show travel or voluntary cancellation may result in forfeiture of the ticket without refund.
Prices, fees and service charges
Prices may include ticket charges, taxes, port fees, service fees, payment processing costs, currency conversion costs and reseller service charges. Some service fees may be non-refundable once a booking has been processed, even if an operator later authorizes a partial refund.
Travel insurance strongly recommended
Customers are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance covering missed connections, illness, weather disruption, cancellation, interruption, baggage issues, medical events, airline delays and ferry schedule changes. Travel insurance may be the customer's best protection when a ticket is non-refundable.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StBarthFerry.com is not liable for indirect loss, consequential loss, missed flights, missed hotel stays, missed tours, emotional distress, additional accommodation, alternative transportation or other costs arising from operator delays, cancellations, weather, immigration delays or customer documentation issues.
Fraud prevention and verification
StBarthFerry.com may use fraud screening, identity verification and payment review procedures. Suspicious, incomplete, inconsistent or high-risk bookings may be delayed, cancelled or refused. Additional verification may be requested before a ticket or service is issued.
Applicable law and enforceability
These terms are intended to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law. If any section is found unenforceable, the remaining sections remain in effect. Customers retain any mandatory rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer, payment card, data protection or travel laws.
